Geonamic Featured in Esri’s ArcNews Spring Magazine
Have you read the news? Geonamic is honored to have been published in Esri’s ArcNews Spring publication as part of their ‘Esri Partners Scale Up GIS’ feature. It is a meaningful recognition of leadership and impact within the geospatial community. Our article is placed alongside other partners showcasing expertise in deploying and maintaining Esri software and systems that can transform a company’s GIS operations from basic mapping to enterprise-wide systems management.
ArcNews is where industry advancements and leading implementations are shared with a global audience. This opportunity reflects not only the strength of our collaboration with clients and partners, but also our continued commitment to advancing GIS as a critical system of record for pipeline operations.
In the article, “GIS Modernization Has Short- and Long-Term Gains,” Geonamic highlights how pipeline operators are transforming legacy GIS environments into scalable, integrated platforms that support both immediate operational needs and future digital initiatives. Through our work with Plains All American Pipeline, we demonstrate how a modern GIS foundation—built on standardized data models, linear referencing systems, and enterprise workflows—can improve data governance, enhance operational visibility, and enable more effective regulatory reporting. Supported by technologies like ArcGIS Pipeline Referencing and the ArcGIS Utility Network, this transformation showcases what’s possible when GIS is elevated from a mapping tool to a true enterprise platform.
We invite you to explore the full article to see how GIS modernization is delivering both short- and long-term value across the pipeline industry—and how your organization can benefit from a more connected, data-driven approach.

Pipeline operators today are data-rich but often insight-poor. Decades of integrity and asset data—especially high-value inspection data such as ILI—are frequently underutilized due to fragmented systems and manual analysis workflows. At the same time, AI/ML initiatives demand structured, high-quality data to deliver meaningful results.
This PODScast explores how the Pipeline Open Data Standard (PODS) provides a standardized, enterprise-grade data foundation purpose-built for pipeline operations. By organizing assets, inspections, welds, anomalies, and repair data into a consistent relational framework, PODS enables efficient data integration, improves data quality, and significantly reduces preparation effort for analytics.
We will demonstrate how PODS-structured data accelerates AI/ML readiness and supports advanced integrity use cases, including multi-run anomaly matching and predictive corrosion growth modeling. The session will also highlight how operators can transition from reactive, periodic reviews to proactive, predictive integrity management.
Join Geonamic to learn how structured integrity data unlocks scalable AI/ML, enhances decision-making, reduces risk, and drives more efficient and reliable pipeline operations.
